The project "Identification, assessment and recognition of informally acquired competences", short IBAK, is completed. This project site www.competences.info is still open to anyone interested, although it will be no longer updated.
The identification, assessment and recognition of informally acquired skills - for us these are still hot items. Get an updated overview on methods and instruments in our IBAK database on our homepage www.heurekanet.de or news from our BMBF project "KomBiA“. We look forward to your visit.
The main emphasis of the Bildungswerk of the KAB are courses to qualify participants for active citizenship as well as seminars and lectures concerning political, ethical and vocational education, which are planned and carried out in close cooperation by both volunteers and employees of the organisation.
The Bildungswerk of the KAB in the Diocese of Münster is officially recognised by the state of North-Rhine Westphalia (NRW) as an institution providing general further education. Its seat is in Münster, the seven regional branches are to be found in the towns of Münster, Dülmen and Wesel. It is run by a non-profit organisation, behind which, in turns, stands the KAB with its approx. 40.000 members.
