Innovative infrastructures of learning; modern ways of vocational training and further education and a new culture of lifelong learning- these are the issues, Heurekanet- Verein zur Förderung von lernenden Regionen has acted on. Professionals of different branches, such as management consultancy, consumer protection and further education funded it in the year 2000. Heurekanet contributes the further development of the regional learning culture and infrastructures of learning by analizing, researching, evaluating and giving innovative impulses as results.

The regional main focus lies in Münsterland and Nordrhein-Westfalen. Heurekanet is a non-profit-organisation, who depends on voluntary, honorary assistance and the traineeship of students. In the past it was nevertheless possible to win over a scietific staff by public support.
